Real-Time Business Intelligence Solutions for Recovery Transparency
On Monday April 27, 2009, the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board and the Office of Management and Budget in partnership with the National Academy of Public Administration asked the public for innovative ways to make Recovery.gov a useful portal for tracking and displaying recovery data from thousands of federal, state, and local entities.
The American Reinvestment and Recovery Act (ARRA) was designed to make government spending more transparent and accountable to the citizens by openly tracking and reporting on awarded funds. JackBe’s Presto plays an important role in the Recovery.gov ‘Developer Center’, providing Recipient and Award Apps that allow citizen developers access to government reporting information. To learn more about Recipient and Award Apps, visit the Recovery.gov Developer Center.
