Learn More About Enterprise Mashups
The Spring 2009 Edition of Presto, version 2.7, is now available. The enhanced features of Presto 2.7 makes mashups easier and safer to use by allowing a broader group of business users to visually create mashups quickly and safely. The free Presto 2.7 Developer Edition is available on JackBe's Mashup Developer Community.
Specific enhancements to Presto 2.7 include:
- a more intuitive, user-focused update of Wires, the Presto Visual Mashup Composer, for easier mashup creation,
- improved ‘Mashup Macros’, customizable mashup transformations for highly personalized, contextual mashups,
- security enhancements that detect and deny malicious code from public data sources, for safer mashups,
- extended browser support, including IE6, IE7, Firefox 3.0, and the Safari 4 Beta, making mashup creation even more accessible.
