Working in Presto Hub
You work in Presto Hub to register, create, find, share and work with mashable information sources, mashups and Apps. These artifacts let you quickly gain insight into problems, work easily with disparate applications and information, or solve problems that are unique to you or your team. You publish Apps to make them available to other users in the AppDepot, your portal, web sites, SharePoint or other environments.
Getting Started
For a quick introduction to Presto and the Presto Hub, try the videos in the Quick Tour. The basic pages and menus you use in Presto Hub are shown below:

For basic information on finding artifacts and working with them in Presto Hub, see Finding Mashables, Mashups and Apps in Presto Hub and Common Tasks for Mashables, Mashups and Apps.
Then start working with and creating Mashables, Mashups and Apps.
Mashables
First, you must register mashables for the information sources you need to work with. These may include applications, databases, web services or files within your organization or and web sites and web services that are publicly accessible. For links to information on registering and working with mashable information sources, see Working with Mashables and Mashups.
Mashups
Next, you create simple mashups in Wires, by creating graphs that describe what the mashup should do. See Mashups in Presto Wires for links to information on working in Wires.
Presto developers may need to create more complex mashups using the Mashup Editor and EMML. See Working in the Mashup Editor and Mashups in EMML for more information.
Apps
Once you have mashables and mashups, you are ready to create Apps. You can quickly create basic Apps based on mashups or mashables. See Create a Basic App for instructions.
You can also use Mashboard to create workspace Apps that collect several Apps and optionally wire them to work together. See Working with Apps and Workspaces for more information.
Presto developers can also create custom Apps for more complicated requirements. See Working with Custom Apps for links to information on all these topics.
Administration and Configuration
Presto administrators also use the Admin Console to configure and manage the Mashup Server. See Presto Administration for links to more information.
