Mashup Training
Gartner named Enterprise Mashups as one of their ‘Top 10 Strategic Technologies for 2009’. To help organizations understand and adopt mashups in the safest, most cost-effective way possible, JackBe hosted a free 3-day ‘Enterprise Mashup Training’ webcast series. The series covered topics ranging from enterprise mashup basics and best practices to writing dynamic mashups using Presto’s Enterprise Mashup Markup Language (EMML). If you missed any of the webcasts in the ‘Enterprise Mashup Training’ series, here’s your chance to catch up. And feel free to share this with your peers!

Enterprise mashups are a valuable new edition to the enterprise toolbox. But how do they work? And how do they work with other enterprise technologies? This webcast assists Enterprise Architects to plan for enterprise mashups by understanding the ‘moving parts’ of enterprise mashups and how they integrate with technologies like portals, SOA, BI, and development toolsets like Java and .NET. Proper planning can ensure your mashup efforts have the broadest possible enterprise reach while also complying with your security and governance requirements.

Day 3- A Developer’s Guide to Enterprise Mashups
2.12.09
In this last day of Mashup Training we got down to the nitty gritty of building enterprise mashups, emphasizing the construction of enterprise mashups with JackBe’s Enterprise Mashup Markup Language (EMML), an easy to learn, declarative language for specifying and running enterprise-grade mashups. There were real code samples of example mashups (including a killer Oracle ERP Mashup) as well as mashup sharing in the form of ‘mashlets’ (portable mashup UIs). We also consumed mashups through third-party interfaces like Java.
