Hi Adrian,
A few small steps we normally do when it come across some issue like this:
1. Clear browser cache and try again
2. Please attach presto.log available in <presto-installation-folder>/logs folder
3. I am not sure of the amount of data you are working with but since you are MySQL just wanted to point out about the max_packet_size paramter that MySQL has. It is available in the Presto Admin Docs
Hi, thank you for your answer.
I already tried the cleaning cache option and also the presto log didnt record anything regarded to that issue, i even erased the log. started again, and when i try to enter to wires it doesnt log a thing, it seems to be more from the side of javascript.
Im using firefox 3.0.6 btw, since wires seems to be designed only for FF i dont think the problem is there.
About the amount of data used, this is a fresh install of the latest developer edition i just downloaded this morning, i only modified the repositories to be in MySQL using the provided scripts (and they are working just fine, i can publish, remove, add users, parameters and everything). also i only have at this moment the provided sample mashups published, so there isnt a lot of information to get a max packet issue i think.
Everything else is working just great, even from the Mashup Studio eclipse plugin, the mashups do their job and everything is stable, the mashboard works awesome, and i even created some mashlets, everything is cool, just when i try to get into Wires i get that error message i stated above.
Also i erased the wires folder on tomcat to get the war deployed again, but no luck
Any thoughts?

Hi Adrian,
We are trying to study what is happening. Requesting you to do the following.
1. Zip the "wires" folder in the following path and mail it to me aishwarya.mishra@jackbe.com
<presto installation path>\server\apache-tomcat-5.5.20\webapps\static\
2. I also want to pass on a wires folder to you. Need your email id for that. Unzip the file that I send and replace the existing wires folder in the path specified above.
Here is another screenshot with some errors detected by firebug.
