Successfully created and Published an Excel Service.

Successfully created and viewed a mashlet of the Excel service.

Attempted to change one value in one field and then "RePublish worksheet updates to the Excel service".  Got error as seen in attachment.

Actually I don't even have to edit the content.  I also tried a republish on another Excel service that had been successfully published.  I did not edit anything.  I just selected the option.  Got the same error.

Ideas?

Hi,

Additionally could you tell me which version of Office are you using as well as paste screenshot of the Excel range you are publishing/re-publisning?

Thanks!

Hi,

I could not reproduce the error in none of the two supported versions of Office: 2003 and 2007. So I would appreciate if you can send the screenshot of the Excel sheet range you are publishing or if possible the Excel file you are using.

Ivan.

Ok,

If you are publishing formulas that could be a problem, we do not support formulas on the cells for now, just data. Can be numbers or text, but not formulas.
