 Hello,

I'm trying to do a developers install on Ubuntu 9.10, i was able to run the registersamples. sh, but when trying to run the publish-mashups.sh I get "Permission denied" for all emml's.  I tried doing a sudo -i and doing running again under root.  I get the same error.  I'm not the best at Linux, so it maybe something simple.  I've also tried running as bash publish-mashups.sh and get the same error.

Thanks in advance

Hi Ray,

i. Have you made any changes to the Administrator password?

ii. Also, in your reply could you paste the exact error that you are getting (please also attach the Presto log which you can find in <presto-installation-folder>/logs/ folder

 Hi Aishwarya,

Thanks for help, no I have not changed the admin password.  I'm attaching a screen shot of log and the actual error i'm receiving.  I have a valid license installed as I can login to the server.  I just cannot publish any mashlets.

Thanks

-ray

Hi Ray,

Sorry for the delay in replying. Was trying to reproduce on the Ubuntu 9.10 that we have. However I am unable to reproduce the issue. The error message screenshot that you posted in your last reply do not say much about the error that is causing the Permission Denied error. You also mentioned you are unable to publish any mashlets - just wanted to ensure you meant mashlets and not mashups because the first post is about being unable to publish mashups.

It is also a bit weird since you are able to publish sample services but are not able to publish mashups.

Could you please do the following so that we can try and debug:

i. Try to publish sample services and check if there are any errors thrown

ii. Try to publish sample mashups and check if there are any errors thrown.

iii. Also please attach the presto.log file to your reply as the screenshot is not proving to be sufficient.
