Wires uses "blocks" to represent different statements in EMML, such as <filter> or <if>. You drag blocks into the canvas and connect them with "wires" to indicate the flow of data and processing.

The easiest way to learn is to watch the Quick Tour video of using Wires. This covers the basics of the screen, how to find the blocks you want, how to add them to the canvas, draw wires, set properties, test the results and save a mashup. You can find a link to this video in several places:

* on the home page of MDC (near the top right corner there are buttons to all 4 of the Quick Tour videos)

* From help in Presto Hub. Go to the Home page and click the Help button (top navigation bar in the right corner). The help window opens with an image you can click on to see any of the 4 videos. Wires is #2

* From the Presto Library at http://www.jackbe.com/prestodocs/v3.0/index.html you will see the same image map on the home page.
