Not able to run the sample google map mashlet "Sample.GoogleMap"

Hi pridesh,

1) Enable Sample.GoogleMaps in mashlet.json. See the Sample.GoogleMap/src.js (see comment at the top) for the entry you need to add to mashlet.json.

2) Did you create an instance of the Sample.GoogleMaps mashlet ? To do this, go to http://server:port/mashlets -> Create From Type -> Sample.GoogleMap -> follow the wizard to create a mashlet instance.

Hi,

I am new to jackbe presto and trying to run the sample google map example. During Mashlet creation, I m able to sucessfully preview the mashlet(with map ).but after publishing the mashlet it is not loading the map. The mashlet shows correct input parameters and title. but the map doesn't show up.

Did any one tried this example?  Am i missing any step?

i. Could you explain how are you trying to create the Google Map example. It will help if you can provide the steps.

ii. Which service are you using to create the mashlet?

Hi All,

I can confirm that this is an issue. I never did get the Google Sample mashlet working. When you use the MashletMaker and 'create from type' (Sample.GoogleMap), the mashlet renders fine as shown in this image:

but when you publish the mashlet and then view it using the standalone html page, the map is not rendered as shown here:
