I had the same problem when I installed the connector for Excel 2007. Can you please try the following:
1) Go to the Excel Options, then click on Add-Ins
2) At the bottom of the dialog box, you should see a dropdown field Manage: and a Go ... button. Select the COM Add-Ins from the list and click Go. You should see another dialog box showing the "Excel Presto Connect" as an available add-in. Check that item and click Add...
Hopefully that will setup the connector properly, and if you then go to the Add-Ins tab you should be able to see the Presto Connector toolbar.

I'm new with Presto and I'm unable to manually initialize the Presto Excel Toolbar into Excel 2003, following the the guidelines expressed in to InstallationGuide in. p. 18-19. I can proceed without problems untill the "COM Add-Ins window" opens and shows the Presto Excel Connector, and can select the "Excel Presto Connector" ja hit OK, but after that the Presto-toolbar does not appear in the Toolabar area in Excel. If I click again the COM Add-Ins menu from the toolvar, the Add-ins window says regarding Presto Excel Connector "Location: Not laoded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in". Any ideas what's the problem?

I have installed the Excel connector which comes with the mashups enterprise download, but not able to see the connector in the Excel . Am using Microsoft excel version 2007.
The documentation is with respect to Excel 2003.
