Error creating the PrestoClientApplication - '0.id' is null or not an object

I installed Presto, started the repository, started the mashup server, entered my license key, and then logged in.  I get an error dialog that says "Error creating the PrestoClientApplication - '0.id' is null or not an object".

 

This is under IE8, the only browser allowed by my employer.

What does this error mean?

Hi,

If you run the IE8 in compatibility mode, then you will not face this issue with Presto.

It is a known issue and has been tackled in future releases.
