Hi,
Could you provide some more details like:
i. Websphere version
ii. Platform
iii. Is it possible to tell us what are the other applications that you have installed?
iv. Can you confirm if the Presto Service Store was running when you deployed presto.war on WebSphere? I think it should be running when presto.war is being deployed.
v. Please also attach WebSphere logs because in case there is any issue during deployment of presto we would know from there?
Hi,
Plz. refer to the following information:
i. WebSphere Version: 6.1.0.0
ii. Platform: Window Server 2003 Enterprise Edition SP2
iii. There are many software installed in my local PC. In WebSphere I only installed the applications required by the "Installation Guide" provided by your site.
iv. What's "Presto Service Store"? I confirm hsqldb was started and the status of Presto in WebSphere displayed "Running".
v. WebSphere log has been attached in the first time.
Thanks!

Hi Jade,
We have got Presto 2.7.0 working on Websphere 6.1 earlier.
When you say, you are able to access other applications, do you mean Wires, Service Explorer etc., because the error in the log mentions "Server not active" and in that case none of the applications should work.
Also, the log that you attached is a small part of the log file. Can I request you to try the following.
i. Remove the Presto applications that you have deployed on WebSphere
ii. Clear the logs - WebSphere logs as well as Presto logs.
iii. Run the Presto setup script. The reason we do it is to set up the required JDK path and other options for Presto Repository to start.
iv. Start the presto repository.
v. Deploy presto.war
vi. Deploy serviceexplorer.war
Start these applications from WebSphere console. Verify if you can access the serviceexplorer application. If yes then we are good. Else please attach the WebSphere logs and Presto logs both.
Do let us know how it goes or if you have any queries.
Hi aishmishra,
