Could not start mashup server. Need your help.

Hi there,

After I installed Jackbe Presto (presto-dev-install-2_7_0.zip), hsqldb server was started successfully. But when I tried to start mashupserver (startPresto.bat), I could find the tomcat was started automatically, then the tomcat window disappered in a few seconds later. Plz. help me on this issue. Thanks a lot!

Currently I confirmed that the port 8080 was not occupied on my local computer.

Hi Jade,

Could you provide the following details of your installation

i. Platform

ii. JDK version

iii. If you are not already running the startup batch file from command line please do so and check if you see any errors

iv. Please check catalina.out, available in the following location <tomcat installation folder>/logs/

See if there are any discernible errors or just attach it in your reply.

Do let us know how it goes.

I have fixed this problem. Thanks for your reply.

It caused by the environment varibles existed in my local OS. There is another tomcat instance.
