Black Screen after entering Presto license

I was able to Install Presto and enter the license in http://localhost:8080/presto/license.jsp

When I press home it takes me to a black screen (Login to Presto Mashup server). I noticed that the page has a JavaScript error stating 'console' is undefined.

I repeated the setup a couple of times but I keep getting the same error.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

I think you are using Internet Explorer 8. In which case you need to activate compatibility mode which is available as a button next to the URL/Address bar. Do let us know how it goes.

I get the same error in compatibility mode in IE 8.0 but also in Mozilla Firefox 3.6.3

In that case this is  not the same error as I thought it to be.

Could you please confirm the following.

i. Platform/OS and JDK version

ii. That you followed the steps in the documentation to setup Presto

iii. Presto repository is running when you start the Mashup Server

iv. Please attach presto.log to your reply so that we can further check

I was able to fix it.

I had the wrong JDK Version
