Attempting to Install Presto on gOS Ubuntu Linux

I'm having some issues installing Presto on an Ubuntu build. I'm going to keep trying but as I run into issues I will post them here. If I cannot succees with the install, I will revert to XP, Vista or wait for Windows 7.

Yep. Everything was going smoothly until trying to get ther mashup server running. There's is a possibility that some files didn't install right. I'll keep troubleshooting. I also pulled it from a USB so files might have been corrupted.

Hi Mathew,

Let us know the errors that you are getting and we may be able to try and help.

By the way, Presto 2.7.0 works with Sun JDK 1.4 and above.

It is not supported on Open JDK.

Yep, OpenJDK was the problem. BTW I also got it working on Windows XP. Now I'm going to dig in and see what I can do.
