I'm sorry the videos have not been clear. The basic flow is this:
1. Create an App in Presto Hub, either as a single App or as a workspace App (combines several Apps together and packages that combination as an App). Three of the Quick Tour videos (1-3) show this process. If you go to http://www.jackbe.com/prestodocs/v3.0/ you get the home page for Presto documentation. The image in the Quick Tour section is an image map -- so just click in the general area within the diagram for steps 1 or 2, to see videos on how to create a single App, or step 3, to see a video on creating a workspace. I would strongly recommend watching these in order as they were designed to give you an overview of Presto and get you up and running.
2. Publish the App to the App Store. Initially, the App Store is empty because you have to publish from Presto Hub to the App Store. Basically, the App Store is the end-user, final destination for Apps (or at least one of them). You can also publish Apps to SharePoint (if you have MS4SP), to portals, or get embed code to add Apps to any web page.

Thanks smitchell for the links.:D Anyway, with regards to new apps, I read in an article recently that Barry Diller, the TV entrepreneur who produced FOX and USA Broadcasting, made a presentation Tues at his IAC offices. Diller declared his business was backing a new start-up called Aereo that will permit consumers to watch live television broadcasts on iPads and other gadgets. Hi all,
I know the presto app store is separate of the local server install app store.
As a newbie how do I take an app (from the presto app store) as an example to work on?
In all videos I see the presenter click on browser and display all kind of apps, on my local environment I got an empy page
Another post talks about the other way, create an app and then make part of the store - but at this stage I don't know how to make and app at all,
Is my local install (3.1.1) wrong?
