This looks like a great read ... it's now on my list of wanted books, but in the mean time I was impressed with Michael's list of 37 Mashup Patterns which you can find on the companion website for the book (www.mashuppatterns.com). With this list in hand I'm planning to see how many of these suggested uses for mashups I can find in a place for in our organisation.
Cheers, Innes
Innes-
You're spot on, the book 'Mashup Patterns' is a great tool when planning how mashups fit into your organization. If you want to take a peak at the book before buying it, you can find the first chapter FREE HERE. I've also been lucky to work with Mike Ogrinz over the past year on a few other mashup presentations. Most recently he joined us in a Roundtable Discussion with Patterns Experts and when he launched the book 'Mashup Patterns' he also joined us in a presentation on 'Mashup Patterns for Successful Business Solutions (you can find the audio to both presentations here).
Both presentations are great references as well.
Good luck!

Addison-Wesley Professional has announced the publication of 'Mashup Patterns: Designs and Examples for the Modern Enterprise', a book that aims to help organizations unlock the potential of mashups.
You can get Chapter 1 of 'Mashup Patterns' free at http://www.jackbe.com/news_events/mashup_patterns.php (along with a recording of a recent webcast with the book's author, Mike Ogrinz). And, of course, you can buy the book on Amazon.
JackBe is very proud that 2 of its customers are featured as Case Studies in the book. We certainly think this is required reading material for anyone serious about enterprise mashups.
