The core of the Mashup Developer Community is our Presto Enterprise Mashup Platform that enables you to create mashup driven Apps and share them in your own internal Enterprise App Store. If you are logged into the Mashup Developer Community, you can access the Presto Cloud Community Edition at anytime by clicking on the tab labeled, ‘Go to Presto Cloud’. We are still working on packaging the developer edition download and will make it available to the community in the coming weeks.
As you browse around the community, there a few things to notice:
- Presto Featured Apps: Being able to build Apps that extend your SAP ERP system, create dashboards from Microsoft Project or turn any spreadsheet on your desktop to a database makes you (and your organization) more productive. Use, share and rate some of our featured Apps in the Presto App Store.
- Presto How-tos: Wondering how to build a custom App with Presto? Looking for detailed how-tos that serve as utility Apps, then check out the how-to section. Don’t find what you’re looking for, send me a note. We’ve got plenty of examples and ideas in the works.
And to make community life easier for you to get involved, start small:
- Browse by the 'Start Building Your Enterprise App Store' block on the homepage. There you can find the ins and outs of mashing and app building with Presto.
- Once you've found your app mojo, build your profile (yep that's me) and make some friends (you can have that many too).
- Finally, you're not alone. If you have a question, ask it in the forums. Your community is here to help.
