A Quick Tour of Presto
You work in Presto to find or add information sources that you want to work with, called mashables. You create mashups from mashable information sources to combine or tranform the information into useful forms. You add or choose the formats to present mashable or mashup information, called views.
Once you have both the information you want and views for that information, you can create Apps to use in the Presto AppDepot or Presto Mobile Add-On, portals, SharePoint, wikis or any HTML page. You can also combine Apps into workspace Apps to use in any of the environments where you work with single Apps.

Featured Presto Videos
To help you better understand the four core areas of Presto: Mashables, Mashups, Apps and the AppDepot; we have created ‘Featured Presto Videos’. These videos walk through how to build sample Mashups and Apps with Presto and also publish the Apps to the AppDepot. These videos are built from working examples in the Presto AppDepot, which you can access anytime as a community member.
Mashups - Do it visually in Wires: This video walks through how to create the FIFA World Cup Mashup. From registering CSV files as mashables, to webclipping public data and creating the Mashup in Wires.
Apps - Make one with App Maker: This video walks through how to create the FIFA World Cup App. From choosing a view, to creating an App with App Maker and publishing the App to the AppDepot.
Apps - Code it with App Editor: This video walks through how to create a custom app in App Editor. From reviewing the app spec, to highlighting app samples to uploading outside apps into Presto, this video highlights all the key features in App Editor.
Apps - Create Workspace Apps in Mashboard: This video walks through how to wire together Apps in Mashboard. Once you've created an App in App Maker or App Editor, the App is then available in Mashboard. App wiring is a key new feature in Mashboard and allows users to publish events between Apps within a Workspace.
AppDepot: This video walks thru what you can do with an App once it's available in the AppDepot. You can embed an App, publish an App to SharePoint or share the Apps with people you trust.
