Publishing and Managing Services with Service Explorer

Service Explorer allows you to publish most types of services to Presto and manage access, tagging and other meta data for services. See the Supported Services topic for information on the types of services you can publish in Presto.

Note: for some speciality services, such as web clipping, Excel workbooks or services from other registries, you use Presto Connectors to publish services rather than Service Explorer. See Publishing and Consuming Services Using Presto Connectors for more information.

Once you have published services in Presto, you can use them in mashups, create mashlets to invoke and display service results in web pages, or invoke services directly from web or server applications using Presto Connect.
