Now 6 days before launch, we’ve reviewed Hub: the launch pad to mashup and App making, App Maker: the quick and easy way to create Apps in 2 simple steps, Mashboard: the App dashboard when one App just isn’t enough, and mashup security profiles which Chris claims ISN’T the same ole wine in a shiny new bottle.

And we’re not done yet. If you’re running Presto 2.7 then you’ve probably built a mashup in Wires and maybe even mashed a SharePoint list or two but now, it’s a whole new world for those two.

Wires has been massively extended to include a palette of actions that allow you to ‘loop’ (yes, your prayers have been answered), average, count, mash SharePoint, transform data and much much more. If you can’t find the function you’re looking for, simply create your own custom block.

SharePoint has two sides to the equation. Improved capabilities for both mashing SharePoint information as well as for publishing your mashup Apps to SharePoint. Single point and click publishing of mashup Apps into SharePoint as native web parts makes it easier than ever to share and collaborate with Apps across SharePoint sites.

Now you’re all wondering, when can I get my copy? Well that’s simple, the online version of Presto 3.0 will be available on June 30th which means you can build Apps on the cloud with friends. The download version will be available on July 15th so you can move Presto behind your firewall and start mashing what’s sensitive and secure to your organization.
