Happy Mashup New Year!

  On December 30 your Mashup Developer Community reached one thousand members!  This is a great milestone and it is something you all should be proud of.  Without your support and your referrals to co-workers, we wouldn’t be here.  (If you haven't used the 'Invite a Friend' page, check it out!)  

And I am very proud to say that because of this I lost a bet to Deepak, one of my fellow Mashup Developer Community Managers.  As part of the bet, I promised to distrbute some holiday treats to all of you.  So, here ya go...

Most importantly, we’ve got some cool Mashup Developer t-shirts (check out the picture).  If you want one, simply send me a note with your address and a size.  The shirts are quite snazzy, we think.

In addition, you've asked for more and better training videos.  So we’ve been hard at work and there are now over 40!  And we’ve just re-organized them into an easy-to-follow new mashup videos page.  If you haven’t seen the entire set, you need to check it out.  And we have over a dozen more videos planned for January!

Last but not least, we're busy at work planning a great 2009 for you.  But we'd like your feedback.  What would help you become a Mashup Master?  Do you need code samples?  How about live web training?  Or perhaps you'd find an in-person day of training to be most useful.  Let us know and we'll see what we can do to help.
