This month’s Member of the Month is Lou Sacco, a solutions architect from Qualcomm and a valued member of our community. We invited Lou to take part in our Presto 3.0 Beta Program because of his extensive background with Presto and his love for new technology. Lou started working with Presto on a project called Oasis, designed to deliver a self-service capability for tech savy business users to visualize manufacturing information from existing technologies like MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) and CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access).
“JackBe Presto has helped us aggregate and compartmentalize our application data into consumable chunks of information that can be delivered readily in different ways to a number of information delivery platforms."
Lou is now currently working on a Presto project called ‘My Places’ for Qualcomm’s manufacturing employees. The goal is to create a self-service App Store repository where employees can access information they need to make effective and timely business decisions, “Based on what we’ve seen in the Presto 3.0 Beta Program, JackBe has taken this to the next level by bringing a familiar concept, the ‘App Store,’ to the corporate enterprise allowing end-users to quickly discover useful applications or augment them further to suit their own needs.”
Lou continues to be a driving force behind Presto’s success at Qualcomm and we appreciate all his feedback and support. We hope Lou’s story inspires some of you to tell your story about how you are or plan to build an Enterprise App Store in your organization.
Like Mirko Minnich as Elsevier Health Sciences, "I believe every enterprise will ultimately adopt the App Store as a primary delivery model for delivering information in the future.'"

What an honor. I'm just realizing that I'm MDC member of the month!
Congratulations Lou! I am looking forward to hearing about your future experiences with Presto.
