Last week we described a few of the new features in Presto 3.0, including 'Hub', 'the launch pad for mashup making'.  While Hub catalogs all Presto resources (mashables, mashups, Apps) into different categories based on type, provider and creator, one of it's most important aspects is that it enables you to create 'an App for that'.

In other words, from Hub you can select any mashable/mashup resource and quickly build an App. Watch as we walk through this simple process:

1. Interactively test and refine different views on your selected resource. For example 'Ajaxian RSS' is best viewed as a 'feed reader' but Presto comes within over 15 out-of-the-box visualizations including a grid view, HTML table, map, geo map, bar chart, and line graph, among others.

2. Once you have a view you like, you can create an App from that view by simply walking through the App Wizard.

Once you finish the App Wizard, an App is created and it becomes available to you in Hub, Mashboard and the App Store.

3. Optionally, you can also share the App with other individuals or groups in Presto.  If you skip this step, you'll be the only one to see this App.

4. Also optionally, you can embed the App where you work, in places like SharePoint, iGoogle, NetVibes, a webpage, a portal, and mobile devices.

Finally, if a single App isn't enough to solve your problem, you might want to consider taking multiple Apps and group them together. You can learn a bit more about that in 'When is a Dashboard more than just a Pretty Face?', written by Dan Malks, our VP of App Platform.
