Sales Engineer
Join the leader in real-Time Intelligence Solutions as a Senior Partner Engineer. In this hands-on role you will drive successful evaluation and rapid prototypes of Real-Time Intelligence solutions that combine JackBe technology with data from popular ERP, Database, BI, CRM, and other applications typically found in larger enterprises.
What you'll be doing:
- Apply your creativity and all of your prior solutions experience to work with channel partners in developing use cases and solutions using JackBe technology;
- Listen and learn quickly to understand the partner’s business profile and go-to-market solution offerings (what they sell, how they sell, where they sell, what makes them special);
- Work with the partner to identify specific application features that JackBe technology provides within the context of a partners existing solution offerings;
- Promote JackBe to partners by having a deep understanding on how JackBe's technology complements existing large vendor (SAP, Oracle, IBM, HP, etc) systems and offerings;
- Demonstrate working knowledge of ERP, CRM, Database, and Integration offerings via ability to clearly communicate how these systems work and the role they play in enterprises;
- Provide JackBe product overviews and training via web conference to partners;
- Work in tandem with company’s Channel Partners team to create collateral (datasheets, slides, whitepapers) in support of joint marketing activities that JackBe executes with partners;
- Contribute to JackBe's showcase of demos;
- Travel to partner sites to work on joint solutions and transfer knowledge – 10% of the time;
- Work with other members of the JackBe team to share solutions and leverage the tremendous talent and existing artifacts for more rapid results.
What you'll need:
- A 4-year degree in a technical field;
- 5+ years of enterprise IT solutions implementation experience;
- 3+ years of product or solution sales and marketing experience;
- 'Soft' skills including basic presentation experience and an understanding of value-driven sales techniques;
- Process or solutions knowledge in at least three vertical industries: preferably financial services, telecom, and healthcare;
- Rapid solutions prototyping skills (HTML, JSP, JavaScript, SQL, API’s, XML);
- Very comfortable working with seasoned technical and business consultants;
- A proven track record of performance;
- A strong conceptual understanding of enterprise architecture including client-server, Web, and SOA;
- Product and/or project roll-out experience with ERP, BPM, EAI, ESB, and BI and the role that each of these applications play in an organization;
- Excellent communications (verbal, presentation, and written) skills, as you will work with partner companies that are based in European and Asia Pacific countries;
- Ability to manage multiple partner efforts simultaneously;
- Work well with technical, sales, and marketing professionals to excel in this position;
- Positions available in Northeast US, Southeast US, Western US, and Washington DC Area.
