Enterprise Mashup Engineer

This position is critical to the successful implementation of JackBe’s Presto® software platform in customer environments. The Enterprise Mashup Engineer must be comfortable working both independently and as a member of an implementation team, which will be determined by the size and type of implementation. The ability to interact with the customer to identify and bring solutions to their information challenges will be imperative for this position.

What you'll be doing:

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyze customers’ business and technical requirements;
• Articulate architecture & design approaches to both technical and non-technical audiences;
• Design and implement custom enterprise mashup solutions;
• Provide technical leadership and coordination in development and integration effort;
• Serve as a strong advocate of the JackBe vision, values, and solution to customers;
• Subject Matter Expert on JackBe Presto ® software platform implementations;
• Provide some project management support when working independently:
  • Establish project schedules;
  • Define deliverables;
  • Define JackBe and customer project responsibilities;
  • Identify assumptions;
  • Integrate into the customer SDLC/Change Management process;
  • Achieve successful project closeout and customer satisfaction.

What you'll need:

• Strong programming skills, in particular Java, Ajax/JavaScript and XML/XPath/XQuery
• Proven success in design and implementation of complex enterprise applications, to include data integration projects
• Knowledge and real life experience with SOA and Web 2.0
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Good team skills
• Good independent work skills (accomplish objectives with minimal supervision)
• Flexibility to travel as necessary
• Ability to quickly learn new software platform technologies
